Film will be released in 2016 on “TURBO” Action Label

LOS ANGELES (October 29, 2015) – XLrator Media (Jimi: All Is By My Side, The Machine) has acquired U.S. distribution rights to the action-thriller CROSSING POINT for release on its “TURBO” action label in 2016. 

Bleiberg Entertainment’s genre division, Compound B, is representing the sales rights to the film and will be introducing the project to international buyers at the American Film Market next month.

CROSSING POINT stars Jacob Vargas (Traffic, The 33), Rudy Youngblood (Apocalypto), Luke Goss (the Death Race series, Blade II), Tom Sizemore (Black Hawk Down, Saving Private Ryan), Paulina Gaitan (Sin Nombre, Netflix’s Narcos), María Gabriela de Faría (Nickelodeon’s Isa TKM) and newcomer Shawn Lock. The film was directed by Daniel Zirilli (Locked Down, the upcoming Asian Connection), who also produced the film with Lock, from a screenplay by Lock and Paul Dominic. Pieter Myny executive produced.

Michael and Olivia are Americans vacationing in Baja, Mexico when the trip takes a frightening turn. Olivia is kidnapped by a drug lord, who demands that Michael smuggle a bag full of cocaine--stolen from a rival cartel--over the border into the U.S. within 12 hours...or else Olivia will be killed. Suspecting something is awry, a driven Tijuana cop is on the trail of the missing drugs as well, sending them all on a collision course toward a breathtaking finale.
